IMFH operates in six District and eight Parishes in the Southern Sector of the Volta Region. The districts are: Keta, Ketu, Akatsi, North and South Tongu and Adaklu-Anyigbe.

However, children from the entire Region are admitted in the Children’s Village.

Propelled by the Comboni Motto - “A Heart for African Children”. The organization is supporting two projects for Street Children in Lome and a Support Programme for the Young Carvers in Afanya.

The driving force behind the activities of IMFH is to create a conducive environment for the rural child to discover his potentials.

IMFH therefore tailors its programmes to serve as a window of hope for orphans and other children afflicted by poverty. The most important policy which governs IMFH’s activities is the principle of Collaboration.

Every step or strategy taken by IMFH is done in Collaboration with the members of the communities.

This crucial factor is to maintain and ensure the effective management of the project. This means that the communities are involved right from step one which involves the identification of the problem right up to the solution level.
